More than 60,000 visitors came to Messe Essen.

Reise + Camping, which is the biggest fair of Germany's camping equipment, holiday and travel, brought together more than 60,000 visitors from 20 countries. Organized simultenously with Fahrrad Essen, most important bicycle exhibition of Germany, Reise + Camping covers all goods and services from camping materials to mobile homes and leads the motor vehicle industry such as caravans.

The motorhome industry is booming. According to the German Camping Club, the recreational vehicle industry achieved new record sales in 2019 with a turnover of 11.7 billion euros. Reise + Camping presented everything related to the trendy topic of camping in halls 1, 2, 3 and 6. Whether tent, caravan, motorhome, mobile home, folding caravan or practical equipment such as awnings, furniture or solar showers - there was something suitable for every taste and for every wallet. Around 41 percent of the visitors were particularly interested in vehicles, closely followed by camping accessories and international camping tourism. The focus of attention of the visitors was mostly caravans, camping accessories and international tourism.
